Yes, they are a much better alternative to dental insurance. They have no yearly maximum (insurance max at $750-$1500), no deductible (insurance usually has $50 deductible), no waiting periods (insurance waiting periods up to 18 months for major procedures). Verdict:

The only negative information I found was from an insurance agent that sold dental insurance. Based on my research I joined DentalPlans.com for myself and my wife. We saved over $2500.00 in dental fees the first year we were in this plan as my wife needed two root canals and one bridge during that year. Based on my research and my personal experience I recommend DentalPlans.com for your dental discount plan.
